Brief Football Background-(how its played, types of football)
American football began somewhere in the 19th century and was traditionally
played by male highschool and college teams and was later integrated
as a pro sport. Canada soon adopted the sport a changed a few rules to
make it a little more interesting .Football has a long history going
further back then its evolution from rugby and soccer. Ancient Greeks
played a version of football but there was an unlimited amount of players
but the objective was the same run, kick, carry or throw the ball across
the field the game was then brought in to Europe where it was played
by English monarchs such as Henry the sixth and Edward the second. Football
has gone through many changes over the centuries to be refined into many
difficult and entertaining sports that we watch and play today
Types of football
For the people who like football or think they would but don’t
want to get tackled there have been variations to the game such as
touch football or flag football both play with the same rules as regular
football except you touch instead of tackling or play with a small
pieces of cloth that you tuck in your pants
