Dodgeball has become very popular among adults as much as children. There are many dodgeball organizations around the that create leagues for all ages, both sexes and coed teams. For example (NADA) National Ameur dodgeball association, (IDBF) International Dodgeball Federation and (WDBA) World Dodgeball Association.
The Movie "Dodgeball; A true underdog story" was released June 18th of 2004, starring Ben Stiller. The movie plot is a small town gym was threatened to be transferred to a behemoth fitness centre unless they could defeat them in a dodgeball competition.
