Stretching

 

Stretching is very important for dancers because it warms up your muscles so that you can do better in your classes. Some traditional stretches are the middle splits, the splits, the butterfly stretch, the parralel stretch, and the frog stretch. Most of the stretches dancers use help them increase their flexibility, increase their leg stregnth and abdominal stregnth, and help work their turnout.
