Russian people have many hobbies. Older people prefer gardening, fishing, knitting, sewing, car repairing.
There are various clubs at schools and additional institution where children can learn many activities or do some sport. Hobbies popular among young people include sport, playing musical instruments, computer, listening to music, collecting different items, cooking.

Alexandra: I like listening to rock, rap and classical music.
I also like playing football with my friends. It is my favourite sport game. I have been playing it for 5 years. But my favourite hobby is shooting, where I have very good results.

Veronica: I have many hobbies: cooking, reading, talking to my friends, writing poetry (sometimes), drawing, singing in a shower and dancing in the lift. My favourite hobby is drawing, they even call me an artist, but it is a joke! This hobby is for soul. It is a wonderful feeling to see pictures appearing on the paper! I'm happy to do it!

Slava: My hobby is writing different stories and poems. I have begun to write a novel recently, but I don't have much time for it. I'm looking forward to summer. I also can write interesting letters, I have many friends in Russia and correspond with them.
People say that I have talent in studying.

Dima: I have many hobbies. I'm a good guitar player and I can also sing well Russian and English songs. I'm good in sports, swimming, snowboarding, skiing. I also like travelling very much. I have visited many countries.
