Renaissance Magnet Middle School

Renaissance Magnet Middle School is located in Flagstaff, Arizona. Flagstaff is a community of approximentally 60,000 full time residents. The towns population swells when Northern Arizona University is in session.

Many people assume that Arizona is all desert...not true. Flagstaff is located at about 7,000 feet of elevation at the base of the San Francisco Peaks.

Snow is common during the winter and mild temperatures are found during the summer months.

 

Renaissance is a middle school that serves 7th and 8th grade students. The school serves about 100 students. Students that attend RMMS follow a different school schedule and select one Magnet class rather than a variety of electives. The magnets available to Renaissance students are: Technology, Visual Art, Theater Arts, Dance, and Advanced Science. Students in the Technology Magnet have created this site with students in Novosibirsk, Russia and the United Kingdom.
