After extensive research of our areas we have found that housing, besides being vital to our survival, that it has some common characteristics. We all have single family housing, appartments, condomineums, and row houses. They all use up valuable farm lands or natural areas that could have been left to nature, where we could have appreciated it more.

Housing is as much a matter of convienence in location as anything. Price always factors in to it, but here again that depends as much on location as demand.

We did some brainstorming on the topic and came up with the chart below. You can check out our research by clicking on the top graphic to see what our areas look like and how we think.

Most of our areas have single family homes, but we can see the need to change our preferences to multi family structures. This change would stop a lot of the urban sprawl taking place around our cities and towns. Scenes like this are happening every where.

Blending our houing styles should make for a more interesting scenerio. It should also cut down on using up valuable farmland and natural areas for housing.
