Right now our air STINKS! It’s full of gas, pollution and other CRUD!
AND it’s smelly! Who wants this kind of air? Not me, and probably no one
else!
Do you know what causes this? US! We do! In our greed and carelessness, we are destroying our air quality. That means Hydro, Stelco, you, and me! In fact, most of mankind!
We want to know how to stop this, but the truth is, we can’t completely get rid of the pollution and garbage, and STINK! But what we can do, is clean little bits, one step at a time. We can take some of the pollution from Hydro, and Stelco away, maybe with big filters in the smoke stacks, cleaning out all of the bad air, and letting only clean air get through.
In Utopia, the air should be clean. We should have no smog problems like in Toronto and the big cities of our countries.
In Toronto, on those hot summer days, children and their parents have to go inside because of smog and pollution conditions.
Down here in Port Dover,
do you ever see the brown line from the pollution coming out of Hydro? Well,
I do! Every time I drive to Hamilton, we go right past it, and we can see perfectly,
that the brown line is like a virus that is eating away at our hard drive, except,
there is no hard drive, and no virus, just yucky pollution (and stink) that
are eating away at our ozone layer. It’s disgusting to know that there
is a long line of pollution, in the air that we breathe in, like now.... and
now.... and now.
Now onto Hamilton! That city is so big! Hamilton keeps building houses outward, closer to Port Dover. If Hamilton does become one with Dover, that means more houses, and more houses means more people, and more people and more people, mean more cars, and more cars, means more pollution that eats away at our ozone layer.
In Utopia, we need laws to protect our clean air. Even more important, we need to re-educate the inhabitants. They must realize that clean air is more important than any financial gains lost to providing clean air. This goes for maintaining clean air emissions from cars, homes, factories and municipal buildings. Every little mg of pollution we take out of our air is a necessity.
