What am I?

Do you believe animals can transform to become great human beings? I wish I can make up DNA in my body and transform into different animals but that is impossible. Nevertheless, I can transform into the prairie dog because we have similar characteristics like intelligence, curiosity, and artistry.

Prairie dogs and I are both intelligent. I am talented in Math, Language Arts, Social Studies and Science. I love to figure out puzzles and clues. I am interested in studying how the earth and people began. For instance, I wonder why people believe in God. Eventually, I must find out clues. The prairie dog has a sophisticated mind. The prairie dog barks to alert other animals with a high pitch. It can warn about other predators. The prairie dog will notice the predator then announces warnings to other prairie dogs as if making a loud alarm call. The prairie dog protects its family and its alert system is clever.

We both are very curious creatures. I love to stay at home because I can read in peace. I read a lot of books all day and all night. However, I am very curious and want to travel to unknown places to study history, culture and food outside of America. Also I am very curious to watch people carrying conversations when they are signing. I want know what they are saying and I always interrupt them to ask questions. The prairie dog has an insatiable curiosity. If the prairie dog is cautious, it will venture into unfamiliar grounds.

Being artistic is what the prairie dog and I like to do. I grew up dancing a lot and built skills in ballet, jazz, tap dancing and hip hop dancing. I can’t hear music but I could feel music vibrations. I have learned African and Chinese dancing. My favorite dance movements are hip hop and jazz. I like to learn dance because it is fun and good exercise. Prairie dogs love music and dancing also! Prairie dogs like outdoor musical performances. Some places in the United States have special festivals where prairie dogs perform for crowds.

I chose the prairie dog because our personalities are similar by being intelligent, curious and artistic. I believe that the prairie dog is an attractive animal with fascinating characteristics.
