“I still can’t believe that I am a fox!” I told my friend, Julia one morning.
“Well, you have to, I mean, a fox is smart right? And your smart...right?”
“Sort of.” I said smiling at her. She was one of my few friends. “There!
that’s another thing me and foxes have in common. We both only have a few friends.”
“What’s in that big box?” I asked.
“That’s another thing about you and foxes!”, Julia commented.
“What!” I said.
“You and foxes are curious!”, Julia replied.
“OK tell me more about me and foxes since she seem to think you know me so well”! I asked laughing.
“Well, people try to beat you at the stuff your good at, but they just can’t!”
“Like a fox, your both competitive. Plus your both annoying to your enemies.”
“Oh my. I never say it that way.”I exclaimed.
“You both fight to have your way, you both have your very own agenda.”
“You...”
“Wait a minute! How do you know so much about foxes?” I said looking at my watch.
“I have my resources,” Julia said.
Ding Ding Ding. Class was about to begin. While sorting out some papers, our teacher Ms Liliane comments, “By the way Vanessa, Julia tells me you and foxes make great best friends”.
“Thanks”, I said smurkingly. I smiled, turned around and thought of my teachers’ comment. I guess I really am a fox. No matter what, I will always be true to my best friend Julia.
