Can you imagine that rabbits are one of the oldest breed of animals on earth? Rabbits are interesting specimens. In this paper, we will talk about the rabbit’s family, history, and relationship with humans. When it comes to the family of rabbits, male rabbits are called bucks and female rabbits are called does. This is the same identification for deer. Young rabbits are called kits or kittens, similar to younger cats. They’re mammals because they can feed milk and have fur. Rabbits have been around for a long time, about 1010 B.C. A long time ago, rabbits lived on an island and the island was named the Iberian Peninsula which literally translates to 'the land of the rabbit.' There are many kinds of rabbits like "true, pygmy, and Asiatic” rabbits and many other types. Relationship with humans was limited for survival purposes. Humans kill rabbits for fur and food and they tend to hunt them for entertainment. Many rabbit farms breed both male and female rabbits to expand the quantity. It’s really interesting to know about a rabbit's life. Now you know a little about the history of rabbits. We encourage you to check out this website and review other resources.
